Junior League of Central Westchester

Diapers are a basic need, not a luxury item. Diaper Need is a silent crisis with parents and caregivers often choosing between food, rent or buying diapers.

For this reason, the Junior League of Central Westchester (JLCW) opened the Westchester County Diaper Bank in partnership with the Westchester County Executive’s office and the Westchester County Department of Social Services. The Diaper Bank provides diapers at no cost as temporary assistance to families in need in Westchester County. The JLCW operates the diaper bank and distributes the diapers through the Westchester County Department of Social Services as well as other community-based organizations. The JLCW through the Diaper Bank may also, on occasion, provide diapers for disaster relief efforts outside of the County as it sees fit.
