Redwood Empire Food Bank

We distribute food through our own programs as well as those of our partner organizations in the counties of Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte. We work on the front lines of emergency food assistance in our region as the largest hunger-relief organization, playing a critical role in assisting individuals, families, seniors, and children.

Three initiatives help us serve our communities. Every Child, Every Day consists of four robust programs that address children’s nutritional needs, focusing on both school and seasonal meal gaps. Senior Security provides healthy, fresh food to 6,000 low-income seniors each month across our five-county region.

Neighborhood Hunger Network uses food and nutrition education to improve the health and well-being of our community.
