Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank

The Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank (WPADB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. They are an affiliate of the National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN), a nonprofit organization established in 2012. The NDBN is dedicated to ensuring every baby in the United States can be clean, dry, and healthy. They provide free technical and business development assistance to WPADB. In turn, they advise other organizations.

​Government programs do not specifically fund or provide diapers.

​The WPADB is the only regional nonprofit organization focused solely on the distribution of diapers to families of low-income or poverty levels. In addition, the WPADB acts as an informal clearinghouse, referring families to organizations that focus on other issues families in need may encounter.

Civic groups, businesses, churches, and schools as well as individuals have organized successful diaper drives. This allows the WPADB to provide diapers to families in need in the Western PA region.
